ZenMaid Investor Reports ("the Application") is an internal application operated by ZenMaid ("we", "us"). It connects ZenMaid's own QuickBooks Online company to generate financial reports that ZenMaid makes available to its personnel and to the investors and prospective investors it authorizes. This policy explains how the Application handles information.
Whose data the Application accesses
The Application accesses ZenMaid's own QuickBooks Online accounting data on a read-only basis. Only ZenMaid connects a QuickBooks company; the Application is not offered to other businesses to connect their accounts. The accounting data belongs to ZenMaid.
We do not receive or store QuickBooks login credentials. Access is granted through OAuth tokens issued by Intuit, which ZenMaid can revoke at any time.
How the information is used
- To retrieve ZenMaid's accounting data and produce financial reports and analytics.
- To make those reports available to ZenMaid personnel and to investors and prospective investors evaluating a potential investment in ZenMaid.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Application.
We do not sell any data or use it for advertising.
Confidentiality and who can see the reports
The financial information in the Application is confidential to ZenMaid. Access is by invitation only and is limited to ZenMaid personnel and to investors and prospective investors whom ZenMaid has authorized. Those users are expected to treat the information as confidential and to use it solely to evaluate a potential investment in ZenMaid.
Storage and security
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
- OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using authenticated encryption.
- Access to the Application and its data is restricted to authorized users.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent data. We may share information with service providers that host or operate the Application under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law.
Data retention and deletion
Accounting data is retained while ZenMaid's QuickBooks connection is active and as needed to operate the Application. ZenMaid may disconnect the connection and request deletion of the associated data at any time.
Revoking access
ZenMaid can disconnect the Application from its QuickBooks Online company at any time — from within the Application or via the Intuit App Center ("Apps" → "My Apps") — which immediately stops further data retrieval.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
